My focus is on people. People acting with technologies.

I'm fascinated by how things work.

I study groups and group communication—especially communication that's mediated by networked writing technologies.

I live in Indiana. I ride a bike, I climb rocks, and I think a lot about everyday human experience.

∆ "Two realities exist simultaneously and separately within every human activity. One is the reality of personal experience, and one is the reality of group and societal relationship. The two realities connect, they overlap, they merge, but they are recognizably different. What happens collectively (for a group) is seldom the aggregation of personal experience." Stake, 2010. ∆
